Despite selling over half the show floor, Co-Owners Gary Bender & Donna Kessler have decided to postpone due to concerns over the implications COVID-19 will have on buyer's capacity to book and spend in the year ahead. The success of the show's brand is based on very strong ROI for exhibitors, rather than risking a lower than normal return for exhibitors, we have taken the decision to postpone the show until 2021.
Get Global announces initiative to support regional areas affected by fire. Although Get Global is an outbound show, as a one-off they are offering 5 regions a chance to be part of the show. This will give direct access to leading event, meeting and conference organisers enabling them to provide updates on their region and to show that it's business as usual. Get Global is confident this will help strengthen business tourism activity in the fire affected regions as they seek to redevelop their tourism base.
Get Global has already sold almost half of its floor plan for 2020; with confirmed returning exhibitors from Asia, Europe & UK, Hawaii, New Zealand, Africa and the Arabian Peninsula.
Get Global delivered on its third year at ICC Sydney last week, with over 340 registered buyers and 120 exhibitors from all over the world. The inaugural GET Global outbound MICE tradeshow held at the ICC Sydney on 28 July has been hailed a triumph as 120 exhibitors showcased a diverse range of products, destinations and experiences from 20 countries to 240 buyers. Over the course of the one day event the 2200 sqm show floor was abuzz with conversations as 1320 connections were made between buyers and exhibitors.

students from the International College of Management, Sydney (ICMS).
The Event Management students will gain first hand knowledge of working on the inaugural
outbound trade event at the International Convention Centre this July. They will assist with not

and execution. All ICMS degrees include an industry training component, so this industry
